CHEAP Infrared Thermometer Gun - GM320

So I got this Cheap Digital Thermometer from bangggod. It has a laser and it makes noises.

Cheap IR thermometers like this one are ALL poor (I'm being kind). They are always mis-aligned with laser dot and the accuracy of the sensors are questionable. You may from time to time get an accurate reading if you carefully scan up and down the measured object for the sweet spot.
As for this video, it's absolute nonsense. IR sensors capture emissions in the IR spectrum. You can't expect a good IR reading from low IR emissivity sources like a flame. You will have the best results if the surface of what you're measuring is dull and preferable black, and the expected temperature within the range of the instrument you're using. I often put a dense magic marker (Sharpie) blotch on what I'm trying to measure.
