My little Lilly is a black Yorkie she is five years ago and is nearly all black with a small white star on her chest. Our Snoopy was a black and tan Yorkie. He was 7lbs and had no idea he was a fancy lapdog. He was a dog who did everything with his girl and was her best friend. He crossed the rainbow Bridge peacefully in his sleep at 10. He was a puppy mill rescue and had heart disease. He was loved and cherished every day of his little doggie life with us.

I bought my x wife a biwer and when we separated she insisted I take him, so I did of course, before our marriage fell apart, i bought her a standard Yorkie, well, we had a litter, 2 girls, 2 boys, x kept the girls and actually gave them away, i got the boys. My 7 y.o. Yorkie is BIG. He is a rescue, so not sure. My handyman says his size is like a Jack Russell, about 14 lbs. He has the steel blue/golden tan coloring with a small white splotch on the chest. I keep him in a puppy cut. He LOVES the groomer and is always willing to be brushed. He's extremely STUBBORN.

I have had 2. The first one (lester)lived for 15 yrs, until he got behind a vistors truck, and just didnt get out of the way fast enough. I loved him so much. LESTER HATED EVERYONE BUT ME. The one i have now (Odie) just the oppsit. ODIE LOVES LOVES LOVES EVERYONE!sometimes to the point it gets a little pesky. He is all over them from the time they walk in the door until they walk out. Odie is so loveable.

The only true Yorkshire Terrier is the blue steel tan or blue steel and gold .
They are prone to diabetes and hypothyroidism. Trachea collapse and separation anxiety . All leading to fatality. Kidney and hestt failure.
I had two championship winners , now over the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge 🌈. One passed on at 9 years old . Another one passed away recently with diabetes. All of truly sorrowful. All came from excellent breeders in the USA. Do I ever try again ?

Biewer Terriers are beautiful type of Yorkie that is recognized by the AKC. So much better than a Yorkie. They are tri color. Black, White and Gold/Tan
