The Hyundai Elantra N gets a face-lift for the 2024 model year--with 100% carryover for 2025--which includes styling changes to the front and rear, updated logos inside and out, suspension, cooling, and steering tweaks. It's still powered by a 2.0L turbocharged direct-injected 4-cylinder that pumps out 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque. You still get the choice of a standard 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Power still goes through the front wheels, with a standard electronic limited-slip-differential. Are the styling updates enough to sway you, and do the performance updates make a real difference in the driving experience? Let's go ahead and take a look.

I’d like to refresh a lot more, especially the front!

The driving in Mexico line was so subtle but good lol

People who get the manual are more likely to take it to the track, which may require a helmet. By not having a sunroof, you get more headroom. That is the reason behind it.

32lb rotational inertial weight is huge for true drivers...cosmetic can't compare. That being said, I just put on stock rims on my 2023 which have been off for a year and they've grown on me (vs my black and lighter aftermarket).

I loved my 2023 Elantra N and wish I would have kept it as a daily driver. The cars are a lot of fun and if you can get over the brand, are worth the money.

Great review. Yeah Hyundai should have left the exterior design alone.

All the front needed was a thinner grate on the spider web and a functional hood vent.

Also the previous gen rear end was perfection and one of the nicer parts of the car. Now it makes no sense at all. Nothing flows and that big chunk of horizontal plastic looks like an abscess.

Hyundai should have spent that money on some mild interior sound deadening particularly to address rattles and creaks.

I like the "black plague" wheels on the darker colors (intense blue, ultimate red) but on the white and perfomance blue it should to be the brighter machined aluminum wheels.

My gf is looking for a previous gen but finding one with under 20k miles is challenging.

That sunroof thing is just with the US Spec.

I would buy one directly if it was available in Sweden

It's a improvement. Listen, it's a sports car. It's not an Infiniti, Acura, or Mazda for looks. Get in the car! Let's go! LOL!

Are there any difference between the 2024 and 2025 Elantra N's?

I have a Civic Si and thinking about trading. Hows the manual compared to the Hondas? I know the DCT is faster, I don't care. I'm an enthusiasts not a race boy.

U said low 5 0-60 in the automatic… WRONG mines is 4.3 0-60 and that’s without launch.. have the exact same car was produced June 2024 average mpg for this current week is 25 combined.. if you tint those windows the car will really pop and the wheels blend nicely .. and all the changes and upgrades are very beneficial to the Elantra N… I wouldn’t surrender my car for nothing….
