Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt has confirmed that he intends to use the freedoms afforded him by Brexit to turn the UK into the "next Silicon Valley".

His comments came during the Autumn Budget statement on Thursday (17 November).

The greater the distance placed between UK and EU Regulations, the less likely any EU company could partner with a UK one, for public projects, goods and services in the EU.

I bet the eventual outcome is to give huge tax breaks and subsidies to tech companies. Lower worker's rights and standards for the tech lords as well.

Or the 20 billion Dollar chip factories IBM will build near New York, from which a part they had also thought about a UK place as well.

UK is world beating in daydreaming and making big plans - that's all.
