I feel like there is a lot of young guys/girls out there that feel they have a lot of time but the reality is it goes by so fast that if you don't take take advantage of it now you lose it. This is not to get anyone anxious but more to encourage and motivate you to start TODAY!

I turn 18 in a month and I just started learning to produce beats maybe a week or so ago. I have always loved singing, and wanted to make my own music, but ofc to do that I realised I need to learn to produce. I finally made a beat I was proud of using fl studios free trial, and I was excited to post it on YouTube. but my mum accidentally pulled the plug on my computer yesterday and it all disappeared. I cried so much over it because making music is already so hard and this just feels like the first set back of many. but this video solidified the fact that I should push forward despite this, even though I have no clue if I will gain anything from making music. the least I can do is try. because time moves on regardless of whether you make music or sit and do nothing. and I don't want to wake up in a few years with more responsibilities and less time wishing I didn't give up. thank you :)))

YO! this message was real. This hits every chord in my soul. For me, i remember being so INDULGED by music. Anytime i was out with my friends i always had my earphones in listening to beats. and my thing was how? how are people out here making these little sound gems that help me get through life? and when i turned 18, i said THIS year ima start bro.. BRO. A whole like 4/5 years went by before i even started. my issue was i was too damn distracted.. kept putting it off, kept chasing nights out friends & vices that led to nothing.
Eventually i got there in the end, been producing for the last 3 years or so now and i swear if i had a time machine, id go back and just do it and have no expectations.

2:36 i be feelin like that too, as an artist. i always think or at least used to think why i didn't start earlier. but you know everybody has their own journey that they're on and God gives everybody their own time. there's a reason why we started "late" or later than others and that's what makes our journey unique. but its never too late to do anything. and also we don't know what these other people had to their advantage as well. so you know. just gotta keep faith and keep goin. and giving up is not gonna do anything good for the future🙏🏾👌🏾

Really needed to see this RMC. I just started making beats this year and ive been at it consistently, sometimes the doubt takes over but when i look back at the investments and and dreams and goals i want to achieve through music I motivate myself to keep going. I’m musically inclined but procrastination has been killing me 30 now should’ve been started but I’m getting the ball rolling after this video trying to learn everything on your own does get discouraging at times. I’m realizing to keep starting and stopping does not help. Good shit great video
