After gaming on a 125" 1080p projected screen for a few years, I had zero reservations switching to an LG OLED 65" 4k HDR TV. Sometimes size doesn't matter when image quality is night and day better.

Years ago I had a excessive 150" screen with a solid sound system, Logitech 1 remote and an automated screen in a dedicated room. That was badass, granted a little too big (even for the massive room it was in). I sold it to buy a motorcycle but I've wanted a projector setup every since although I'll probably just get a massive tv instead. Still, the immersion is something else.

I don't think I'd much rather have a 65-70" 4K TV with HDR. Definitely a better experience, in my opinion. And you can probably get some extra inches, if you include the cost of a projector screen that you'd have to have.
