A quick video to review the AWD Volvo XC40 Recharge's snow performance.

Going into the second year now. It has performed well all summer and we are looking forward to a second winter in the xc40 recharge - nothing to add to the review except that we have been very happy. Zero problems.

Thanks for posting this. Please add more footage of your XC 40 in the snow.

You highly recommend the car and I highly recommend that you fully clean the snow off your car, including the rear window, before driving on public roads. The guy behind you will appreciate not being blinded by the cloud of snow you are creating in front of him.
I realize that it’s the “me” generation. However, I would appreciate it if the “me” guy, in front, would be considerate of the other drivers on the road.

Thanks for review, both your videos on electric XC40 are very helpful! Enjoy the car and beautiful winter.

How about cleaning the windows for snow

I have the sister to your vehicle (the Polestar 2) and I have been thoroughly impressed with how surefooted it has been in snow. Only ice really breaks traction and its very manageable with good tires.

Thanks for the great video, I have one question, what tire size did you do? I'm driving a XC40 recharge in Korea and I can't find the front winter tire size. 235 45 R20 is so rare

Hi,

great video.

How much does the roofbox affect your range/economy ?

Excellent video. Thank you! The OEM front tire size is 235/45R20. The Pirelli Sottozero 3 lists 235/35R20 in the catalog but not 235/45R20. Is that the size you purchased for the front?

Shame range will suck. EV can’t replace an ICE car at all

LOL will stay with my Subaru Legacy 36 MPG highway, cost half as much to buy, has double the range. Try to resell your vehicle in about 5 years, good luck.
