Do you know if preconditioning the climate also preconditions the battery too when connected to the mains?

thank you for the battery icon explanation for when it is below temp. I couldent find this anywhere in the manual.

East UK daytime temp was 0c or below for 2 weeks. Only got 190miles on a 90% charge.

Watching this video again after taking delivery of my XC40 full EV. Ordered in early 2022 and received end of Dec. Of course, I got the 2023 model and surprise! They added on the protection items and charged me over $600 cdn for it. For mats!!!! Inferior mats for a true Canadian winter, in my opinion. The dealer said that all 2023 in my trim level come with that pkg now and they could not remove the charge or the items. I was pretty angry as I had already purchased tuxmats here in Canada - started off the delivery with a negative feeling, unfortunately.

Is there a way to pre-heat the battery without using Google maps? I prefer Apple CarPlay for navigation.

Has the offroad mode in electric c40 been downgraded from 50kmh to 30kmh? Even 50kmh in my "old" xc40 recharge was little too limited for some winter fun. 70kmh or more would have been prefered :)
