Very nice tutorial, thank you for sharing your knowledge! I was following along in blender 4.2 and it worked fine with a few exceptions! If you would show the keys you pressed you would make it even possible for extreme noobs like me to avoid having to google the shortcuts :P

thank you it is simple but solid build that helped me to speed up the process of creating custom seaplant and corals. Combined with your other tips I managed to procedurally uv unrwap the branches and procedurally scatter/instance custom geometries. It eally pays off the time to folow and learn some of the technical aspects using geometry nodes and tought me well on how to implememnt custom basic forms nd shapes for the shader. Many thanks!

Awesome thanks, really helpful. I have tried different techniques within blender to try and simulate the Unreal Fluffy trees, but nothing seems to work without a high unrealistic poly count.

For info and if it helps someone, the node "Interpolate Domain" is named "Evaluate on Domain" in the 3.5 Blender version.

This is my third time trying this tutorial. I've gotten to 30:16 and there's something just off about mines. The dimensions look wrong, the top branches aren't taprering as much as they should.

Another part is the stored named Attribute (thicc) not only am I confused as to how it affects the thickness of the branch it apparently isn't doing what it should be doing on mines.

Question how you can search so fast Subtract ? for me a need to write MAth and after change for Subtraction
