3:38 you mean the type of lever that smart manufacturers use to hold the easily accessible bulb socket in place, so one doesn’t have to disassemble the front end to change a bulb?! The engineer that designed the Ram Headlight assembly obviously does not drive a Ram. There had to have been a better design! The 1A Auto video is very helpful!

Great video very helpful changed mine in 10 minutes. I was in a hurry to change it before i went to work night shift took to a local mechanic he told me 80 bucks to change he said he had to take the whole front end off but i didnt believe him then watched this video u cant trust certain mechanics theyll take advantage. Thanks to this video saved 80 bucks and it took me 10 minutes he said it would take an hour for him to do it.

Super helpful, I was able to successfully switch the bulbs on my 2012 Ram today. Excellent video!

ATTENTION: the bottom bolt only needs to be turned for about 30 seconds to a minute, and it will freely spin without being able to remove (even with a magnet). REMOVE THE TOP BOLT AND PUSH THE HEADLIGHT FORWARD FROM THE REAR TRAP DOOR ACCESS. Then you can pull the whole headlight out and lift up until the bolt pops out. The whole process should only take 5 minutes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME SPINNING THAT DAMN BOLT! IT WILL DO YOU NO GOOD!

Appreciate the video. Clear direction on what to use and a trick of the trade with the tape. Took me 10-15 minutes or so. Would recommend a wooden ruler or in my case a wood wedge to help unseat the headlight. Sausage fingers didn’t work too well.

Great video but the only thing I would add is I have found it easier to "bump" the assembly out from behind through the access hole than to try to pull it out from the front.

Can’t understand why they wouldn’t have just made the plugs for the light accessible from the hole in the wheel well. Sheesh.
