When I was 4, I was at a day care when my parents were at work. One weekend, the day care burned down; and my favorite blanket was in the cubby there. I was very sad. My parents tried to comfort me by going, 'It's okay sweetie, your blanket is with Jesus now!'
I responded: 'What would Jesus want with a burnt up blanket?'
My parents just looked at each other in shock for a moment. Then both cracked up laughing.
My dad is an INTJ. My mom and INTP.

Good video!, "embrace the chaos and enjoy the ride" is so powerfull, at least me ive have a lot of insecurities growing up about wheter or not i was good enough, in fact "the fear of succes" its a meme in the intp subreddit, and that quote is good, The key is embracing the akward, embracing the Chaos.

It's funny how InTp's are always portrayed as pondering the movements of celestial bodies or the nature of gravity. A truly hardcore InTp wouldn't spend time thinking about theories that contradict known observable laws of force and motion. Centrifugal force exerted outward from axis could never be reconciled with "gravity" that pulls towards a center of mass. Therefore gravity is an incorrect theory because centrifugal force is known and fixed.

An INTP playing D&D with others is clearly an amateur. With that many dice you can conduct a campaign in such a way a DM and any other players are as unnecessary as they are undesirable. The game can be more fun without any friends mucking it up!

I am exactly halfway between introvert and extrovert. MBTI test results for me are always INTP or ENTP, decided by about 5 percentage points either way depending on my state of mind as I take the test. Because of this, I can't really identify too well with either one. This video in particular made me think there's no way I'm an INTP. I don't day dream or tinker with stuff or solve problems that don't exist. I'm pretty tolerant of social situations. I might spend hours alone, but not days. The only thing that fit me in this video is the superpower to make connections between seemingly unrelated things that no one else in the world has ever noticed.

But again, videos about ENTP don't really resonate with me at all, either. I've come to the conclusion that I am an ONTP (omnivert). Maybe we could shorten that to simply say 'NTP'.

2. Relating hard to every cringe moment of growing up and problems -> maybe I'm just a mediocre intp

Me buying a watch hoping to fix that "forget to eat problem" yea didn't helped at all. I came off quite rude when asking someone about something I don't know and it's their job to know. Like asking my vet about my cat and bird. I feel bad for them tho I have to ask! I'm not trying to personally attacking the vet but I am really just curios about it T^T. Tho usually I don't say much in social interaction but yea my mind is running that stupid possibilities that make me overthink and awkward it's annoying. And it's VERY awkward for me to say those out loud most of the time.(well it'll become even more awkward if I say what I'm thinking out loud)

This was funny. But not all INTP grew up as academics. I tried University briefly but realized that I couldn't stand the people around me and became an over the road owner operater trucker for 50 years. 7 trucks later I live on a private lake
