Marcus Yam explains why buying the right Intel Core processor is only part of the equation; you should also pair it with the right chipset to get the features you want at a price point that makes sense for your budget. Our 600 Series chipsets may not be the newest (look to 700 Series for that), but they’re compatible with both 12th and 13th Gen Core processors, providing more options for PC builders looking for a versatile, capable, and feature-rich platform for their desktop.

Which model B660 board has two PCIe x8 slots?
Why does the chipset influence RAM/PCIe features (eg. ECC DRAM), when those buses connect directly to the CPU?
AMD does not require a chipset for their CPUs, only Intel CPUs and chipsets are so intertwined.

If the next generation chipsets get as hot under multitasking i/o a more robust mounting solution for the heatsync with consideration in placement to alow tall aftermarket heat fins or water block would be a great recomendation to have in your partner disisghn resources 😅❤ 3 server fans blowing on an un finned thin aluminum "heatsync" is not an ideal "solution" 😂but it still worx... this board does not deserve Asus' strix stamp😅
