I’ve been using armlock putting since 1995, building the putters myself. I’m surprised that the method took so long to emerge! My trait is to apply the open stance. This really makes it easier to see the target line.

I didn't know there was such a thing as armlock putters, but I already was doing this with my own regular putter (by standing close and bent over).

Ive recently built up an arm lock putter to test. I was a pretty good putter conventionally. I was initially worse arm locking, the set up and stroke takes a little bit of practice but currently it really gets the ball online and against ehat a lot of people say my pace control on lag putts is actually better than a normal putter, think its due to consistent loft delivery and not being able to use wrists for power

I’ve been developing and putting armlock putting since 2003 having to build my own putters from the start! The Sik concept made my use the Cobra Agera from 2022. Good job promoting the technique! However I use the open stance that promotes head behind the ball and line. Sorry to say I never convinced anyone to use the technique not even my wife!

Just got fitted to an Armlock Putter yesterday. Been using a 34" 12yr old Odyssey Two-ball White Hot. Never played any other type. Decided to "try" armlock at my fitters. After about an hour of playing around, decided to actually get fit using Quintic and Fine Tune putters. My experience was awesome because I was 1. Open minded to new things, 2. Trusted my fitter, 3. Believed the data that showed I actually putted better and 4. Realized half of my strokes were on the green and needed to spend the time and money on the area that needs it most. I'm coming here after watching your L.A.B. broomstick putter video. I'm looking to get a lab putter but I've never tried a broomstick or an armlock. I probably should narrow this down before getting fitted because I may only be limited to one hour

I agree when you go back to a normal length putter they seem very short and make you stand over the ball and bend over a lot more, the more upright, open view of the hole and putting line is what I like about these arm lock putters, as well as better balance and stability. Nice review :)

I like the idea but getting fitted is next to impossible to get the right specs. Even a guide to the correct specs would be useful from the manufacturers. This is why amateurs haven’t adopted as we are just not sure where to start.

I have an arm lock putter but I have problems when gripping it, to get my hands in the same position on the big grip is not easy

Hardly any uptake because there are hardly any available. Only available online! I've rung 10 Cobra stockists and they have none in stock, nor do American Golf. Can only order online which is too big a gamble as people need to try before buy when it involves new tech like this.

There is a growing movement among professional golfers to ban armlock putting as a form of anchoring. I believe that the R&A and USGA are looking at this with an eye to banning. I guess that while it is legal one can switch to armlock, but if it is banned, you will have to re-learn your putting style again.

I find I bend over more and as I grip armlock like you I'm gripping it at 24 inches instead of 34 inches so I would have more control, you try gripping your traditional putter lower down and that to os 24 inches you will get more control, so basically you do not use an armlock putter using your traditional length, do you,
