Margot! I came back to this tip to tell you that I think this is the best tip ever! I buy loose tea in tins and I tried the hair dryer tip on the labels and it is fantastic!! I can now sand them and paint them for brush/pencil holders; or planters. Thank you for all your hard work and tips!! Create your own beauty! 🥰

Why not just use painters washi tape from the paint section of the hardware store? Designed for “delicate surfaces”. Works brilliantly on watercolour papers.

Alao, make sure your painting is completely dry before removing tape. Stripped ng the tape on your clothes before putting it on the paper reduces the "tack" or "stickiness" and helps reduce tearing.

I love this tip. I use my heat gun. It's a lifesaver. Have a great weekend.😊

Bless you! I needed this tip today. I tried making a birthday card for my friend and put a big L with masking tape in the middle of the card. The painting went better than expected, but when I pulled up the tape, it ripped the paper. 🫣😱 Was going to give up on the idea, but your timely tip has saved the (birth)day!! 🤗

What I need to know now is what kind of hair dryer is that? I love that it looks like just a tube which is such an appealing shape
