Gecko Chirping

I live in Colombia and currently watching one crawl around the bedroom. Havent seen or heard many this year and relieved to see one. It keeps getting quite close then running off. Theyre so cute and eat pesky mosquitos!

I love geckos, they help keep the flies and mosquitoes in check, but sometimes their chirping drives me nuts xD

My wife and I are in Samoa at the moment and were wondering if it was birds or maybe bats making this chirping noise. Great to finally know who is keeping us awake! There are so many of them here!

I miss this sound 🤣 i haven't heard it since I left Hawai'i. Told him the geckos "laughing" always helped me sleep (In Hawai'i it's good luck so I always felt calm when they laugh) he straight up called it annoying 🤣

I caught a Mediterranean gecko in a box at work (Seattle), he was an inch long, from Tulsa Oklahoma!!! Got a tank, heat pad, a couple of hideouts, he scarfed 5 criquets tonight, relieved to see him eat!!! Trying my best to help the lil guy!!!

i have been hearing this sound for months now and heard it behind a box just now and kicked the box to see a gecko run out the back outside of the box!

In Florida, I hear what sounds like  Very Musical Crickets, during the day, in foundation plantings. I Knew they were Lizards, and we have LOTS 'O Geckos. They live in our houses. How they get in, is a mystery! But, they eat bugs Soooo! They hide behind framed pictures on the wall, and anywhere else they can squeeze into!

Oh gosh, as cool as these things are, seeing them and having to constantly listen to them at night in India drove me up the wall. I still shudder thinking about it.
At any rate, good to know the sound was just geckoes.

I just came here to check iF Gecko make noise because in my room i always see gecko go out and in. So tonight i sat in my bed and i heard some weird noise for the first time, i actually got scared and an idea came for me to check if they do make noises and this is the same noise the gecko at my room making.

I love you tiktiki (Bangla for Gecko). Geckos are one of the things i miss most (other than my family of course) about South East Asia. Thank you for this little clip It has helped me not feel so homesick. :)

They are so common in asia. I love them. They eat bugs and hide behind furnitures. Sometimes they sneak and eat food from the table, so cute.

I'm in my brother's house in Honduras, and every once in a while I hear this chirping. I asked him if it was birds, and he said it was the geckos.

Finally! i find out what on earth that noise was in my house, I've seen the gecko's but had no idea they made this noise. I'm on the east coast of Australia, thanks for posting :)
