Watch out for this fake 2fa application, it WILL steal your bank information!
This week, a malicious two-factor authentication (2FA) application has been removed from Google Play. The app, called “ 2fa Authenticator, ” comes loaded with the Vultur stealer malware that targets and steals your financial data. This fake application was downloaded more than 10,000 times and basically records your devices screen and keystrokes to steal your financial information. Remember to always do research before downloading applications, and be sure that the permissions asked from the app are legitimate.
