Ghost Recon Future Soldier - May 2012 Release

In this video IP Development Director Adrian Lacey announces the new release date for Ghost Recon Future Soldier. He also gives us an update on the Xbox 360 beta and reveals a Playstation 3 beta coming in April. The PC version of
GRFS is also confirmed.
Ghost Recon Future Soldier will release in May 2012 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

@OreoPOL I've heard they are doing a separate version instead of porting it straight from the console one. Skyrim has something similar in that you can get the updated graphics mod that the consoles couldn't handle.

@minzal You know how GRAW had two versions? One for consoles(TPS) and one for PC (FPS) I think the 2010 gameplay is for PC and 2011 is for console. That is my opinion though.

On the website it says that only xbox will get the beta by pre-ordering from gamestop. Im not sure weather or not there is going to be a beta for ps3.

Will the PC version be exactly the same as the console's, as in the 3rd Person View, the graphics, and of course the game play? I sure don't want it to turn out like GRAW (PC).

@chumaster90 its being pushed back so ghost recon online comes first... they get new costumers and more sales... that's mainly the reason, to make the franchise popular before release

I have to commend unbisoft for what looks to be an outstanding shooter, Having played the Ghost Recon since my xbox day's (Desert Storm I think) Even sticking with GRAW for the past couple of years, While waiting for GRFC to be released & trying to convert any gamers I encountered into the Ghost Clan. Never jumping ship for the gun-Ho COD games,
However I feel Ubisoft is letting it's hardcore fans down, with the predicable release on the 360 coming ahead of both PS3 & pc. Shocking

At least they're honest about announcing it. I really hope they polish the game. However, will this game have dedicated servers? I hope that extra time is for integrating dedicated servers. Because you could polish the game all you want, but without dedicated servers the online MP be basically be a lagfest waiting to happen. Every game without dedicated servers sucks because it suffers from massive lag. So please tell me if you're putting dedicated servers otherwise that delay was for nothing.

@ubisoft is there any chance of you guys releasing a single player demo? I watch both the Nigeria and the Northern European Coast missions almost every day. I would be ecstatic to get my hands on either one of those demos

@KaRonpage if you mean about the glitches on bf3, every game has those even how far and complete they would make the game, there will always be glitches

@ubisoft Guys, I just want to know if Ghost recon still going to be like the trailer & gameplay shown in 2010? or is it going to be like the trailers shown on 2011? Personally the 2010 version looked more badass.
