Why Omori cosmology is more than just a dream:
Point 1: Headspace was not created by Sunny, and existed since the beginning of time. It is stated to look different to everyone implying it is not something exclusive to Sunny. The reason that it is filled with things based on the Real World such as fictional characters like Captain Spaceboy is that Headspace is shaped by The Dreamer's imagination so it would make sense that the several things on Sunny's mind and memories will be there. Along with Mr. Outback, this is supported by other cosmic characters such as Daddy Longlegs who said Sunny created a door from White Space to Headspace instead of outright creating Headspace and Coral Branch stating that 3 great creatures existed prior to it's creation. This is all also supported by Headspace still existing even when he is awake as events can occur even when Sunny is not asleep which should not be possible if it was a normal dream. This is shown with how Aubrey, Kel, and Hero all signed contracts for Mr. Jawsum offscreen and even working for him competently despite their last showing in the dream being falling down a void in Sweetheart's castle.

Point 2:
Something haunts Sunny in both the Real World and Headspace multiple times throughout the whole game. Something is the very literal manifestation of Sunny and Basils trauma, guilt and fear that was created from their trauma of the sight of the Mari's corpse's eye staring back at them through her disheveled hair and her death that they also covered up as a suicide. It then proceeded to haunt them for the next 4 years until they finally overcame it and revealed the truth. If they don't overcome it, Something follows Sunny and likely haunts him for the rest of his life as he moves away along with it making Basil commit suicide. Blackspace is where all of Sunny's trauma and guilt is hidden away and a showing of his unstable mental health. Something can be found in the pathway to it and within Blackspace's doors as well. Sunny's phobias of heights, spiders, and drowning were all caused and created by traumas as well, and Somethings final fight shows that the phobias Sunny mentally fights are just a part of it. It is also shown to be a very literal thing that exists as shown with Basil being able to directly see it along with it being in his own fight.

Point 3:
Sunny's original avatar of Omori can break free from Sunny's control to become a separate entity, go against him, gain complete control over his mind and consciousness, and possess him to make Sunny kill himself so he does not have to live with the truth. Omori can even stab himself in White Space, and kill Sunny in the real world by doing so at the end of the game in the knife ending. In the Hikkiomori route, Stranger was even going to trap Sunny within Black Space forever due to him running away from the truth and it would have became the case if Omori had not saved him.

To conclude, Headspace is much more than just a dream

Honestly i agree with the points.
All chara does is say hello to you durring genocide and her backstory is that she wanted her friend to pass the barrier.

But sunny/omori manipulates his friends for 4 years after killing his own sister, deals with trauma and many more things later ingame.

I feel this is more fitting as people forgot most things Chara does Omori has done, and he has abilities that overwrite many other things. Also of fighting actual MACH speed planes to tanking hits from planets. Also the ability to affect ones emotions with no restriction, a way of manipulation. Similar to the case, Omori logically shouldn't be killable by Chara as Sunny is required to be killed which isn't here. Both also have existence erasure though it seems Omori's is better as for Chara it did have some limitations like only at the end game required lv 20 and such while Omori is shown to be capable of that with Red Hands and before that.

A reminder to most, Chara is strong def but doesn't have many feats. They are easily able to be effected by emotions don't state they can't they act against the player from hate of the determination of them thinking they have control. The feat capability of Chara is also a bit questionable as with Undertale it is canonically a videogame in a videogame while Omori is a videogame that isn't a videogame, like to us it is but in their world, it isn't, not due to non-self-awareness but simply from it not being a videogame in their world with a Player. Chara can't close this game (even if Toby tried and failed that doesn't mean they can now) and resetting we don't know its effect beyond the underground as people like Frisk were never shown to be affected by Flowey's resets. Also noted is of reset in general if for fairness if they fought in an in between universe reset doesn't seem to be effective and also just to push at it on a stretch it works off determination with Omori can change emotions ridding that determination feeling with sadness, etc which Chara shows no feats against anything like that!

However, Omori seems to be some sort of creation that only replaces Sunny himself in Headspace.
Well, Omori seems to be more of a form of Sunny, but not his real self.
His actions that are appeared to do what Sunny what normally does, and is technically a puppet.
Take the Raiden Ei for example, Beelzebul created her as a pupet to rule over Inazuma as she meditates in peace in her somewhat dimension.
Chara, on the other hand was a soul herself.
Not really a puppet, but was different soul with Asriel.
She sacrificed herself for Asriel to move among the common grounds of
past the forbidden mountain.

In conclusion, I feel Omori might actually win, because he can only be killed
if oneself kills Sunny, his creator. Unlucky for Chara, Sunny was not included, meaning Omori will have a very high chance to win,
and has much experience, gained by Sunny’s tragedy and despair. He may find a way to make Chara go crazy,
while he himself shows no emotion. Yes, Chara can reset, but will still be mentally traumatized and can easily quit.

Omori is definitely faster, dude can keep up with Shark Planes that move at Mach speeds while Chara doesn’t have such feat. Also, Chara has been shown to destroy a timeline (which likely only affects the underground because Flowey’s resets were not interrupted by Frisk on the surface) while Omori has been shown to create a universe (headspace is described as a universe by Spaceboy). Lastly, Omori definitely has more experience than Chara as you only kill around 100 monsters per genocide run and her dialogue at the end of the route maxes out at eleven times (I think) while Omori has been killing sprout moles for four years.
