Hi Doug & Stacy, I'm working on the garden part of my homesteading adventure. I was promised a mobile home before I arrived but it fell through and so I'm making do with 560 sq feet in a barn building right now. It's a good shelter and has a metal roof, I'm very happy. Right now my garden is living in containers. It's all about taking steps toward where you or I want to go. One step at a time and seeing the progress unfold is an amazing and wonderful adventure. Stacy is a blessing to my campaign for living as you two do. My wife is not totally on board but she see's Stacy happy and that has REALLY helped soften her up. Looking forward to seeing the outdoor kitchen built!

one thing I notice and love about you is the clean and neat aspect of ALL your areas...even your barn cats seem tidy . not sure how you do it...as in keeping up with it all plus all the other things that you do

WOW!!! The amount of thought, planning and work that goes into homesteading is absolutely mind-staggering! My *new beginning* will not take place for another 3 years. You have a fantastic philosophy. The aging in place is a going to be very beneficial to you. Growing flowers can provide food uses as well. Marigolds, basil flowers and cilantro flowers can be eaten. Nice place you have there.
