For who doesn't know. When the sea turned black that means there's a kraken near you but it kills you and sink your ship when it has big damage on it. The black sea covers the whole ocean and its long to survive.

For obvious for the people who don't know this is what you should read:
Black water meaning: if you are in fact seeing that the water suddenly turns black out of nowhere prepare for an epic battle the Kraken spawned
Blood water meaning: if you are in fact seeing that the water suddenly turns red it means that you are reaching the edge of the map and then holes slowly summoned on your ship and then it will slowly sink only one item will fix this Crimson water meaning: if the water suddenly turns red and black it means the kraken is coming and also you got a repair all those holes which is gonna be a very hard fight
