"The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing" by Marie Kondo is the Konmari method in high house tidy action and is the prequel to "Spark Joy".

First I listened to the audiobook - but that wasn't enough - because I needed professional help. So I went and bought the book and have turned it into a study - and as you shall see in the video, it's all worth it.

Oh, just to add a little about the part of "spark joy" (for anyone who may be wondering about it, just as I was, when I was reading the book):

"Spark Joy" here doesn't only mean things that bring you joy. But it is also refers to things that bring value into your life. Things that make life easier for you. Example for me, a screwdriver doesn't spark joy in the sense of making me happy. But it brings value by being there for when I need to use it. Its' purpose as a tool basically help to make things easier for me. Thus, it "sparks joy".

I'm missing the 'other shit' category. I mean all the cables, old devices, and other shit that accumulates and we want to give to recycling, but it's not convenient. And stuff my husband has accumulated, mostly. I'm ruthless when it comes to discarding.
