So Tecno has gotten to the stage of producing almost a $1000 phone, they've really gone far

The Tecno brand is huge in Africa. In my country, Malawi, it's the go-to brand for the masses, from entry level to mid tier phones. But for the higher tier, people tend to go for the Samsungs, iPhones etc. I'm a Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel, Motorola guy myself, but the way Techno has been killing it the past two years, it's making me a believer 😄

Gotta give them props, that's the nicest included case I've seen. Most just give you that cheap clear rubbery plastic but here you get a custom matching case and an included kick stand that's done really clever. More companies should do that especially once your phone breaks that $500-$600 price range. It probably only cost a few bucks to give a nicer case but it makes a big difference to the buyer.

Felt so proud once i saw this because I'm using the Tecno pop 2! In a society where always Samsung and iphones are the most popular I feel so happy seeing such device going that far.

I love taking portrait photos, and having a high-quality lens built into the phone would be a game-changer for me. I can't wait to see more about this smartphone and how it performs in real-world use with others too! Really liking the options they give you so far!

I believe it depends on the market, where I'm from they have entered in the lower tier market but now I'm seeing them producing a phone that costs 10 times what they are currently selling over here
