Cobra Water Mixable Oils - Lesson 7 - Glazes and Washes

It is important to know what to pay attention to when efficiently laying out and preserving an oil painting. After watching this lesson you will know for example what the internationally-known term "fat over lean" means.

Cobra Water Mixable Oil Colours provide a perfect oil paint result with a uniform drying time and degree of gloss. Painting with Cobra paints is much like painting with traditional oils. The paint can be applied using all the usual oil paint techniques. The colour, as well as the brush stroke or applied texture, retains its full expression after the paint has dried; the paint remains as it was when applied.

GREAT TIPS AGAIN.
but i have one for you too.
when spray painting you should spray beyond the picture and release the trigger with each pass in each direction.
this gives a more even coat and prevents the spray from spitting! (i used to be a professional spraypainter).

Cobra oils are truly great products, I always buy them, I hardly ever use the medium, water is fine on its own

Wonderful explanation sir! I'm looking forward to trying the Cobra brand. Been using WN and the paint is very hard coming out of the tube. Just curious, I paint on paper for oils, Stonehenge 100% cotton and the washes I put down with only water and they sink into the paper like watercolor. Since the paint sinks in, is it protected more or do I still need to use 20% medium with the water. I still go over some spots but not all with thicker paint. Thanks again!
