Started streaming less than a month ago, and your videos helped me like no other. During my first networking experiences I've found a small channel part of a 'streaming team', composed of basically tiny channels who watched and 'supported' each other. They invited me and it was tempting at first, because they had a few hundred followers (much more than my 20ish at that day) but I thought it was weird their viewers were composed of just...them. So I decided to do my own thing, keep trying to be entertaining and don't care THAT much about numbers....and it worked like a charm!!! Ending my first month with ~150 followers, a bunch of subs and over 10 average viewers <3

So true. And that drop off is what leaves such a bad taste in newer/younger streamer's mouths. It starts to make you question why you put the time in and why you are pushing so hard. Thanks for sharing! Much love! 💘

Around Xmas time i was so close to partner and then after the holidays were over and my campaign to help the homeless ended, my viewership dropped and im barely getting 10 average viewers now. Its very disheartening and has made me feel like what i'm doing is not worth pursuing anymore

This summer has been hard for me streaming I don’t like looking at my view count but after streams I check and I usually average 10-15 viewers and I been getting like 4-5 and been streaming on twitch for 4 years

Lurk for lurk is a lot liek "like for like" in that regard. It feels sueprficial and bloats numbers. I just stick with a friend group specifically for streaming and on the side either play on my own or make little gifts/commissions live.

Also, this channel is bloody crazy, so much useful stuff.

It's true. When I was pushing for partner I had around 80-100 average viewers. Now barely reach 40 :/
