Poor man's Big Brake Kit for your Honda

Quick how to on fitting a Mini Cooper rotor and CR-V caliper to your 90's Honda.

97-01 Crv calipers
07-11 280mm Mini Cooper rotors
04-10 TSX or 99-03 TL base brake pads

To get rid of that wiggle play from the rotors, buy 1320 performance washers. They will fit flush and you won’t have that play from rotor.

For us viewers in the UK we can use the MG ZS 180/ZR 160. 2001-2005.
The MG discs are a perfect fit 282mm/11inch and are 4x100, the retaining screw can be used also.

For those without ex knuckles fast brakes makes a bracket which will let you fit 280mm rotors + integra calipers

Thank you! I did the upgrade and I get a constant metal grinding noise, now I know that's its that center brake pad guide. Going to remove it today.

You can use 97-00 crv everything same parts as itr. Knuckle, caliper and rotor and it all fits perfectly like it's supposed to.

U can use 1994 Acura legend GS calipers too their dual piston

Good luck finding EX knuckles. I just upgraded to 90-91 si calipers that use a bigger piston.

1320 has adaptors for the lug nuts to fit tightly against the rotors.

G60 rotors with a hub centric ring and tsx calipers works too... no need to change the knuckle and mess your alignment up.

Paint the centre hub of the rotor in order to prevent corrosion.

Do you have to change to a 40/40 Proportioning valve

With a 92-95 civic can i use 96-01 integra knuckles or do i have to use 94-95 i ask because I know the da was 89-93 that ran odb0-0db1 and 94-01 ran odb1-odb2 i have a parts car that's a 98 odb2, and a odb1 94 civic

You could machine the hole where the factory retaining screws are to eliminate the wiggle right?
