I agree with others that sashing would help the stars stand out. Try different sizes. Snowball the sashing & use cornerstones to make mini friendship stars! 🎉 BTW, I *_LOVE_* your nails! 🎉

This quilt has a very modern look to it which I love. I also like the secondary pattern created. The vivid color of the batiks against the black is stunning.

Okay ... what if you did that in reverse? What if you did the background in a space print and did the 'stars' in pastels with like one or two black centers to give it a Black Hole effect? I may just have to buy myself a treat on Valentine's Day.
