Показать описание
Aerogel is the world’s lightest solid, made of 99.8% air. Created by replacing liquid in a gel with gas, it forms a fragile yet incredibly strong structure. Despite its delicate appearance, Aerogel is stronger than steel, can withstand extreme heat, and even stop bullets. It’s used by NASA for insulating space shuttles and can rest on a flower without crushing it, making it a true marvel of modern science.

A few corrections: Aerogel is not stronger than steel. In fact, it is incredibly brittle (which is the main difficulty when manufacturing it). It can technically hold many times its weight, but that isn't very impressive considering that it's the least dense material currently in existence.

Infused helium into this gel. Then you got a aircraft like no other.
