Great video! Something that came to mind is; how would you reattach the rubber strips? 0:32

Or do you know if these laptops can be charged by one of those laptop pads that you can just sit it on or I mean charging pads?

I've been needing to get my laptop open to clean it, & lately to stop the fan from running almost constantly. I've tried opening it before, & after going through about 20 screws, get to some requiring some weird-headed tool that I naturally don't have. Opening up an electronic for a basic simple cleaning should not be this f@$#% hard!! Come to find out all I had to do was remove the rubber strips & the screws under that!? Thank you so much, this damn fan running all the time is so aggravating I wish I could fix it with a hammer!

Ik this vid is almost a year old now but I do have a question. My laptop model is almost identical to this one but it is 4013dx model. My cooling fan physically is broken and I wanted to know if replacing it manually will save me the cost of $70 for parts and labor from a friend. I haven’t opened it yet till watching your vid it makes it easy thank you.

Ok, so I was given 1 of these laptops about a year ago, the owner said it needed a new hard drive. I'm mechanically inclined and can figure out some stuff. I've changed hard drives on PS4's many times but this seems completely different to me. Is the SSD Solid State Drive the actual hard drive? This is just something for me to experiment on, it cost me nothing so if I get it working great. I don't want to spend a bunch of money, $100 or more, to get it up and running. I'm calling it a learning session.

I can take it apart and I pretty much know what most of the stuff is but my problem is it’s not charging and it looks like the part that you plug the charger into is loose. Is there a way to change that? I’m not exactly sure what it’s called but the port where you actually plug in the battery charger is loose. I think it’s from my grandson dropping my computer. Thanks.
