My hp laptop Model: 15-t Dw300 is prettly different from your model but the chase is 98% same so can i also do

Hi I had done this and successfully repasted my laptop thanks to this video, it had a GPU chip which would be placed top-left of the CPU chip. But I ran into an issue, one of the USB ports you can see on the top left, the 2nd one from the top left stopped working, is the flex/ribbon cable that you detached responsible for those ports? If so, it could be that my cable was dirty or not inserted properly.

What's weird that only one of the ports isn't working, if the cable had damage, shouldn't both ports stop working or is the 1st USB port connected elsewhere?

on my laptop, the flex cable is sticked on top of the fan with adhesive or something. i couldnt just pull it out like u showed in the vide. can i just remove it even though its sticked? pls help
