Yes. I went profoundly deaf last year and trying to learn BSL as quickly as I can (luckily I can lip read from being hoh most my life) and the courses and apps and videos don’t teach slang, but I don’t want to be talking like I’ve just walked off a Shakespeare stage, I want to learn the slang too! Alot of Portuguese sign language is same as American the only difference is the voice that's all .
