I'm building a coffee bar and installing STAINED GLASS!

I love it but I would strongly consider putting a protective glass top on. The inevitable hot coffee drips are going to eventually ruin your top without it.

perhaps a bit tmi but relevant backstory: ive had severe depression all my life, so i've never known anything else. it's incredibly foreign to me to imagine going out of my way and working to make my life not just functional, but enjoyable and customized to me. i can't thank you enough for sharing this renovation journey with your gorgeous, lovely, beautiful house because it's showing me a version of life that i can have and make for myself, one that i really really want to live. you live in a lovely rural area, you have your own home that you are working to make beautiful for yourself and your loved ones, your life is full of books in every possible way... it's all so lovely i don't even have the words for it. thank you for sharing this and helping to give me a future i look forward to creating and living in <3

What I enjoy about your reno videos is that you share the real process, which is adjusting and pivoting and vision changing to make it work for your needs and space. Which is what all of us do when tackling a project. I watched this while enjoying my morning coffee! It was divine!

I would remove the books from the top shelf and replace the books with different coffee pots and or tea pots. That coffee bar area turned out stunning!!

the stained glass is lovely, I also like how it is mirrored on the other side of the room with the duck tapestry...I am glad you moved the huge plant, I kept saying to myself you need space to put your mug down and have room for your snack plate too

The mug display really made that corner! And the glass is GORGEOUS. Love how the design shows an underwater perspective. So quaint!!

You know, what I love most about your videos, aside from your sparkling personality, is that you show the process of creating a space. Other platforms show before and then, poof, a finished product. First of all, I adore your enthusiasm and ZEST for life. Secondly, I would buy some custom cut tempered glass to put on top of the coffee cabinet or else over time, you'll warp and/or discolor the top with coffee and water drips.
