As an Afghan, I am so proud of the rugs and so glad that it is part of your beautiful home studio! 💖

Two things and one question: 1. LOVE how you guys were able to communicate a clear sense of the journey - all the vision and hard work that went into creating this space. 2. LOVE your integrity (too many gear-related sell-out white noise on YouTube, and so little of it I trust. Q: What do you guys do for sound treatment (besides those lovely Afghan rugs)?

"Just take a moment to revel in the BEAUTY of this room." See when that beat entered? I felt that shit.

One thing that really helps with sound absorption is to put underneath the rugs underlayment like TrafficMaster, QuietWalk or Roberts AirGaurd. Super cheap safe and easy to cut. It will make a huge difference. Another thing is if you want better sound recording abilities without buying panels or wall installations, do consider dynamic microphones and tube mic preamplifiers get that true voice-over/podcast type of sound with way less equipment. You can even record everything to your zoom etc.

very refreshing to know you're not just pandering your gear as an affiliate. And are honestly just informing people on what seems like quality gear. Anyway i love your videos, keep up the great work!

My favourite part was the Afghan kebab house

The walls with all those frames of your photographs. Those are the things that turned the house to your home. Nice way to sum it up - "Art with memory baked into it."
Such an inspiration !

I really like the way he makes it clear that the products mentioned is something that he really used and also the separation between his own thought and the influence of the a sponsorship. I hope to see more YouTubers are as responsible like that way😂

the in everything-- the decor, the colors, the textures, the gear, the labels and organization, the editing of this video itself, the disclaimer about not being sponsored, the list of links in the dropdown-- i appreciate it so much

Thank you, for allowing me to co-live a life I would never be able to live myself.
When watching your videos a part of me screams: "Hey, I want to live like this as well!" And it's not only with your videos. It's with many other youtubers, many other inspiring people. And I reckon I'm not the only one. I'd say 99% of all people feel this.
In the past it often made me feel a bit down. I felt that my life sucked, that it was dull and boring. And so one day I asked myself: "So why don't you go and live a different life?" And the answer was simple: "Because I wouldn't be happy!"
I realised that this type of living is not who I am.
I like unexpected things to happen, but I very much need my routine.
I love to travel and explore, but I need a lot of time between to process it.
I am a creative person, but only when it comes to small things and I wouldn't be able to make my living with it.
It helped me a lot to appreciate who I am, the way I'm living, the things I do, the people that surround me.
And your videos help me to nourish that small part, the part that would love to life a more exciting life. And today I know, that it is enough.
Thank you and Iz for sharing your lifes with us, so that the small screaming part can be happy.

I love how you have connection with all of the accessories in your studio. Like all the picture you took by yourself. The pillow that you get when you were travelling. It's Nice to have a story in our stuff. Not just for the aesthetic

The chair is one of the many designs from Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik. I’d say he is the pioneer of ergonomic furniture. I know so many people with back problems who has benefitted from his chairs. Good choice.
