Love me a good patty melt! I also love French Onion Soup, so why not combine the two?! First we will smash some burger patties for our patty melt. Next, we will caramelize some onions for that hint of sweetness. Make a classic diner sauce for this and then start building. Double patties, double swiss cheese, add some gruyere to our caramelized onions and toast it up on the skillet. So freakin delicious!
