My NEW Solar Guitar is a Lemon :( I’m returning it

It's strange how the Washburn Solar
guitars didn't have these kinds of
problems, and they were made in the
same factory, by the same people.
Solar must be putting the screws to
WMIC to boost production or something.

I’ve had 5 solars and have issues with every one of them. I tried to love these guitars. I’m going to sell all but one of them.

My high E-string would snap at the tuner too, I took a file and smoothed the edge of the tuner post out and it stopped snapping my strings

If solar moved completely to richlite the cracking problem would vanish

Hold that string up to the neck. Wherever the break is, you'll find a burr or square edge. adjust it (it's part of any set of basic guitar setup skills). The crack in the ebony sucks. What the humidity in your room? Ebony is really particular and I've had 5-year-stable pieces of stable blank stock crack if I let the humidity drop for a couple weeks. AC/HVAC is your enemy here. I thought Solar addressed that crack issue years ago (better QC )
