Since I started using the cadence of 3-1-3, which Jay recommends, I can feel every muscle, get a great pump and haven’t been injured again

I'm a 69 year-old woman. I have a personal trainer who vists me and my husband once a week. We lift weights. Slooowly.

Our training session lasts about a half hour, and we do one set of each exercise, going to failure on each one.

Then our muscles have a full week to recover.

And almost every week, with rare exceptions, either the number of reps rises or the weight rises, or both.

In other words, we are steadily getting stronger.

Our trainer warns us against working out on our own. More is not better. We used to workout with him twice a week, but our progress is better now. I'm amazed what going to failure slowly and having a long recovery time has done for us. And it saves so much time.

So in all sports they are training stupedly in gym. Max effort, 80%RM max explosive until speed decreases. Very stuped and in studies in doesn’t this doesn’t do anything. Infact after gym wo you can’t even practise on
max effort until 5 days. 🎉
