Adding Yeast Nutrient to mead (Gone Wrong)

The affect that yeast nutrient in mead can be amazing to watch but a mess to clean up if you don’t degas properly.

I would say degass if it’s spilling over, I have also heard of people putting the nutrition into a bit of water before putting it in, could be totally bs though

Degas a little before adding and it shouldnt foam as much or very little. Hope this helps and happy brews!
