That was really interesting. I remember following the Beagle mission when it happened.

I remember watching for updates on the news for Beagle 2 and following online throughout Christmas 2003 for updates on this mission on an old Pentium 133MHz computer, which I still have to this day and fondly remember using it to follow Beagle 2. Gutted to find out the mission had failed, but got excited when it was found. Only hope that one day it will be recovered and placed in the Science Museum's collection in memory of Professor Colin Pillinger and his team.
