Engine heat soak is one of the biggest issues people face on track, but today, I’ll share tips and tricks to try to avoid it. While this isn’t as big an issue for naturally aspirated engines as it is for those running forced induction, this well help everyone.

Keys to engine bay heat management:
1. exhaust wraps and ceramic coatings
2. heat shields
3. specific paint colors
4. plastic/silicone/carbon over aluminum/steel
5. phenolic spacers
6. ducting and venting
