Logitech's Folio Touch vs Apple's Magic Keyboard for 11' iPad Pro!

Logitech recently debuted the Folio Touch, a keyboard and trackpad case designed for the 11-inch iPad Pro that serves as an alternative to the Magic Keyboard. In our latest YouTube video, we compare the $160 Folio Touch to Apple's $300 Magic Keyboard to see which is better.

I love my magic keyboard. Just the ease of putting the iPad on and off the case, the pass through charging port, and the design is nicer than the folio.
But it’s good to have both options available

Although logi is cheaper but I would never give up on the magic keyboard . Honestly after getting this, I use my iPad more than my MacBook Pro 16 inch . Just love the design,

Ended up getting the Logitech. $140 saved means I can buy the pen as well.
I really have no problem setting the iPad with the Logitech Folio on my lap, and I'm 5'6".
I have had a lot of Apple covers and they all end up with frays. Meanwhile, I got 2 years warranty from Best Buy (extra) and I can get it replaced when something goes wrong.

I have both and I do like the Logitech. I don’t type in any great capacity unless I’m at a desk or table. So it works. I like the function keys but I also get that the drop down on the iPad worked just fine. I don’t like the Logitech on the lap unless the keyboard is tucked under. What will I keep? Who knows... first world quandaries.

Great review. I bought a magic keyboard to try today, only to realize that you can’t flip and stow the keyboard. That seems to be a major over site on apples part. Folio touch - the kickstand will probably annoy me, but day in and day out probably going to be the better option overall as I’m looking for something to swing back and forth between dual use as a regular iPad and sometimes an iPad with a keyboard. Thanks!

😑 There actually *! IS !* one huge reason to buy Apple’s: the ease with which you can ditch the keyboard and bulk, and then reattach when you’re done using a tablet instead of a pseudo laptop. I don’t enjoy laying in bed with a fat-ass folded up fabric laptop thing... I want a thin and light tablet.

I like the MK ... 12.9” ... but I am having problems using the pass-through with a RoMoss 20, 000 maH power bank. It does not give any charger indicator, and makes the backlighting on the keyboard just blink at the rate of once per second. Pretty much my only complaint ... forces me to use AC power (cord does not exactly reach, which is why I used the power bank in the first place), else use the usb-C port directly on the iPad Pro itself.

Use bought the folio touch and honestly I love it. Have no issues with it.

It looks like it’s hard to take out of the case if you just want to use your iPad as a consumption device. That’s what I like best about the magic keyboard, easy to disconnect.
