Math 209 Lecture 9 - Qualitative Methods, Population Models and Systems of equations

Показать описание
In this lecture, we spend a long time, about an hour, going over the past three homeworks. The topics include: finding qualitative (graph) solutions to ODEs and population models (the Malthus model, the Harvesting model, and the Logistic model). We then start chapter 6, where we will learn to solve systems of certain kinds of ODEs--those relating to logistically modeled populations. For now, we remind ourselves how to deal with systems of equations in the college algebra context.
