Watch preference is personal. The numerals is what makes Air-King different from the rest of the models. This new version is really much better. The changes have makes it more sporting. The 36mm Explorer is too small in my opinion. That is why I bought the new Air-King over the Explorer 36mm two-tone. And I enjoy this new Air-King over time as it grows on you. Thanks Rolex for making the changes.

I like it. All of the small changes are positive improvements. But it is still slightly too large.

I love the new Air King. I have the old one as well and the new one is so much better for many reasons but mostly due to the new case shape and thinness. I tried the explorer 36 and it looked ridiculously small on me and it will look like that on most wrists (looks good on you though). My AK gets more wrist time than my Sub, my DJ 41, and my YM. Love it! Dresses up or down. A perfect daily. Some may not like the dial...personal preference...one thing's for sure...it ain't boring!

The new model is awesome. The green Rolex logo and green seconds Rock. Its slimming and a wider bracelet. I just got the AD call and bought one. Love the smooth bezel

I love the Airking 126900 it definitely different I like it’s quirkiness. I sold my Sub as it was boring and to many fakes around.

I got the new AK and I absolutely love it. I do see your points. If I already own a 36mm Explorer, I would skip the new Air King too.
