What is so hard about making a small truck with a 6' bed? I don't get it. I'll never need rear seating in a truck and have no use for a bed shorter than 6'. It's even becoming harder to get a mid sized truck with a 6' bed. The lower price point and better gas mileage of a "small" truck is oh so needed now. I have no interest in a full size truck and even mid sized truck prices are crazy high. Great segment as usual Kirk. Thankyou

I know the Mavrick is on another level. I have one as a work truck and i was shocked at how capable it is. And FUN to drive which you would never guess. And that's the Hi Bird version too.

My parents owned small pick up trucks, and I hate they got bigger. Let’s go back, I need a pickup for what it is. It’s cool to own one big ass truck, but I don’t need that.

All I have to say is that I’ve been a loyal Toyota customer for 30 years. I thought for sure Toyota would have a hybrid truck that got fantastic mileage and none of this is true. I purchased a Ford maverick hybrid and never looked back. Toyota has royally screwed their customers with outrageous $5000 over MSRP for a lot of their most popular hybrid vehicles. Yes they’re four years too late and they still at this point do not have a Toyota truck that gets excellent gas mileage. Yes Toyota had all of the tools to put it out first and yet they are the last to finish, the hybrid truck market.

I've been waiting for a truck like EPU!!! A hybrid would work too. I do hope they give us a 2 door option. Get rid of the mid-gate, the back seat and the back doors and glass and you lose a lot of weight, save a lot of money, and gain some useful bed length, length that could be beneficial with a solar charging bed cover. Yeah, I am a little excited about a Stout hybrid. It would be even awesomer with a series hybrid set up like the Ram Charger, just a lot smaller engine and battery. Electric AWD and regenerative breaking are great. Having a small enough engine to have a small "frunk" would be great. As a Silverado and Toyota CHR owner, I would love to see Toyota design and build the perfect Truck right here in the good old U S of A!!! I'm all in!!!
