Very nice recommendations! I’d recommend La Taberna Casera in Cabanyal; the sangrias are unique and amazing, food is always excellent, and the staff treat us like family every time we go.

As always, fun to see your take on things to do (and eat!) in Valencia. My wife and I enjoyed watching this video last night from the comfort of our flat, not far from some of the places you recommended (some we weren't aware of). Nice to know of these options if we want to splurge or take visiting friends who are foodies. BTW - nice to bump into you two in the barrio the other day!

Have you guys tried Huerta y Huerta in Russafa? Lunch 5 courses 30 Euro or Dinner 7 courses 50 Euro. Chef Ramonet prepares delicious food. You must have a reservation as he buys just the right amount of food for the day. Usually heavy on seafood.

Ooh, all of these look great! I only recognized the Only You restaurant since I walked around that area one night. I recommend El Garaje Foodie in the Mestalla neighborhood! They have a unique ordering system and their bravas are to die for. Oh, and Federal Valencia attracts a lot of youth and internationals! Their food can get a little pricey, but the quality is great 😋

I was wondering what places in Valencia would be good for a kid's birthday party? They of course wouldn't expect Michelin-starred restaurants. In other words, kinda nice, but not too nice. At least a cut above fast food.
