IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE VULF FUNK-OPERA?

Thank you for this great new album and all these top videos. I have been a big fan of Vulfpeck (and Vulfmon) for a long time. But as a Frenchman and great defender of Franco-Italian friendship, I must remind you that the rumor (aka fakenews nowadays) that Napoleon stole the Mona Lisa is false even if it comes out regularly. It was Francis I who bought it from Leonardo da Vinci in 1516 or 1518 (so about 300 years before Napoleon's conquest of Rome). "In 1797, it went on permanent display at the Louvre" (see Wikipedia). Indeed, Leonardo da Vinci lived from 1516 to the end of his life (1519) in France, welcomed by Francis I who bought some of his works that he had taken with him. Nicolas, from Paris with love !

I love that the bass in The Heist is a reference to The Cup Stacker

Love the intervals that jacob and antwuan blended in the one man band verses. It's giving the best parts of musical theatre.

Vulfpeck always makes interesting things sound even more elegant and catchy. I love how they turn the theft of the Mona Lisa into some kind of epic but playful mission with an almost romantic tone, as if the theft were a love story between two inseparable accomplices.

this song has literally been on repeat for me for the last days. I love just a simple duet, with just two people and a piano with a simple story. It's just so lovely, thank you so much antwaun and jacob <3

the most incredible thing about this song is that Jack actually shares the context to the lyrics.

Heard the track before the story and I just KNEW it was the seed of a musical Jack was writing.

There’s just no way that Jacob Jeffries wasn’t a theater kid - And I mean that with so much love 🕺🏻
