Hope you enjoyed this video! What approach are you going to take in stocking your products?

That's generally the approach I take, although sometimes it's nice to have at least a few on hand so you can restock inventory on your own schedule, instead of needing to interrupt what you're working on every time you get a sale.

I found that the opposite approach works best for me. I run my shop on the side, on evenings and weekends and I'm not always certain when I will have time to work on my items. I decided to only list items that I have in stock because I did not like the anxiety of "having to make" something when I may not have the time. Having items in stock gives me peace of mind to know that I can just pack it up and ship it out the next day.

Super super useful, thank you Deb! 😊

I’m a jeweller about to launch in the new year, waiting to see what’s popular to start batch making – as you suggested!

Excellent... I like this approach for items that can be replicated in the development process. for us, we can use the same colors in the creation process and have two different looking results. so it is difficult to take a picture of an item and be able to recreate it... thus for us, it seems best to have a picture of the specific item in inventory versus potentially creating an item that the customer does not care for given it is different that the picture of what they ordered from

Thanks for the coaching and valuable insights to consider

Hello! Love your videos! Do you have one that shows step by step 'how to" for posting/marketing your items from Etsy on Pinterest? I'm confused if I just "save" listings directly from ETSY or if I separately make a pin of a listed item and just a short description? As of right now if I hit the Pinterest "save" on my Etsy listing it posts my Wall Art and includes the entire Esty description. Not sure if that's how we want to approach Pinterest marketing? I'm a little lost! Thank you so much for all your videos!
