Jock villagers are actually really sweet one you get to know them, one time my jock villager had a thought bubble and I thought he wanted to move away, but then he said “I take one look at you and my troubles just melt away!” 🥺 and he says hello sometimes by saying “like that shirt!”

You can also ‘investigate’ the lost item, and you can get an extra point if you give it to the correct person without showing it to another villager. If it says ‘someone lost this...’ then it’s from a villager that you have less friendship points with.

It’s so weird. Merengue is one of the villagers I talk to often. Maybe not every single day, but there were legit about 3 other villagers I have been straight up ignoring for days, yet merengue got the moving out thought bubble
