I'm an emt Student and I went out today to some football games as a stand by medic to help out with injuries this was my 1st time ever responding as a student to real patients nothing was staged these were real injuries and as nerve racking as it was I truly had the most incredible day going out there and using the knowledge and skill I have as a student to the test. Absolutely an incredible experience

My grandma just had a stroke a couple weeks ago. We didn’t find her in time to prevent permanent damage so now she has a left side deficit. I’m so glad this woman was able to be treated in time

Shame some doctors don’t take it as seriously as paramedics and EMTs. I had a heart attack in June (51f). The paramedics were on it and thank heavens they stayed with me once at hospital. The hospital was going to have me wait in the hall! We have a family hx of cardiovascular disease but I’d had nothing. Exercise everyday, low blood pressure, about 5 pounds underweight, eat healthy, no drinking or smoking. My vice is swerving, only in the car though! 😂. My heart surgery was successful and I’m back to walking…slowly!

So the husband and I’m guessing the child, knew her history, knew she had a headache, knew she had blood clots, BUT were letting her climb up and down stairs doing laundry. I can’t help but wonder what they were doing!?

My sister apparently died from a blood clot in her brain 🧠. I talked to her the night before & she told me that she was sleeping. The next morning we called to check on her as she had just come home the day before from having a second myomectomy in three weeks & she never called back. We had police arrived & they had to get the key from the apartment manager. We that got into her apartment she was deceased in her bed. My mother scream. She kept calling her name but she would not respond obviously. She eventually got into bed with her. The coroner did not believe that my mother needed to get a autopsy performed. Also my sister had a history of seizures as well. They started happening in 2017 but she was never diagnosed as a epileptic but she did take medicine for them but if she didn't take it normally she would get them bad.

Good that there was no permanent damage. Although scary, it could have have been much worse.
