Being an addict with 6 years of sobriety under my belt I feel for this guy so much! I can understand the triggers this man is so desperately trying to avoid to induce another relapse. I hope he stayed strong and got the help he needed to stay clean!

The reaction he had to the very idea of the needle stick was chilling. It's not somethingn I would have ever thought of before. Praying for him. I hope he's clean now.

When I heard his symptoms were the exact opposite of a heroin overdose I was like "what?" and this dude actually called 911 because he's in withdrawal.

I'm an ex-addict and I don't even know what paramedics can do for you. I've been in tremendously horrific withdrawals in my time and you do what you gotta do to alleviate symptoms and get through it, but I can imagine this poor dude is in such pain and misery he called out of pure desperation.
