Maybe this was an unscheduled lesson in seeing how accomplished Kika is at boatwork. You rock Kika You have my undivided respect

Mad respect for enduring your passport setback. It is really a shame you are not able to travel freely.

You are a rock star for not only rocking the boatyard alone but putting up with this passport drama as much as you have. Can't wait for you to freely travel the globe again! Will give you a massive hug in the States (or maybe somewhere more fun 😉)

Solo Kika episodes seem to really resonate emotionally. Kika, you are such a wonderful human being. Seeing you expose your emotions in this video was just so touching. Thank you for letting us into your world in this episode.

Oh man! The deflated unicorn is simultaneously the funniest and saddest thing I've ever seen. And Kika's reaction was just so perfect. Thanks for the laugh, I really needed that today!

We were on the ferry from Tortola to St Thomas after our bareboat charter in the BVI, when my wife pointed out Dan on the ferry as we were departing. This definitely confirmed it was him! Sadly we couldn't make our way over to say hello, but it was inspiring to see one of our sailing heros in person. Thanks for the continued inspiration! Our full-time live aboard journey starts soon!

Kika, you’re doing great! What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. You “repairing” the unihorn was priceless. You and Dan chatting in the Cockpit locker reminded me of when y’all started this refit and you were being crazy in there together. You made the best of it!

Nice to see a Kika focused video. First time I feel like we get a chance to get to know her better and see her shine. Love you too Dan ;-)

Kika sweetheart, I can't even begin to tell you how much it means to me to see another woman living this lifestyle the way you do - with such grace, humor, and talent. Every week you inspire me to step further outside my comfort zones and to try doing hard things. I absolutely adore you and can't thank you enough for showing up and showing the rest of us how it's done. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Holy Crap, , , when you over inflated the unicorn I just about spit my coffee across the great solo work on Uma, Den will be so proud of your accomplishments while he was away with the Patreon group.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.. my wife and I were childhood friends married for 59 years . I lost her brain from post stroke, miss doing things together. In her late stage dementia and disabled, I am consoled by her presence.
Do your THING as long as you can. Speaking as a career architect/professor, you two have chosen the right course with the problem solving / aesthetic training . ZEN be with you.

A bright happy place on YouTube where we find hope, hard work, and a plan coming together.

Kika, you were doing great on that project. You are an expert at this boat work, and unlike your handsome partner, you fit a lot better in these tight cramped spaces, one of the reasons you two are such a great team. I am sorry you were unable to go on the sail, I know you would have enjoyed the break from boat work, but yet your attitude and willingness to do more boat work overcame the disappointment is a good example to the rest of us watching. You weren't alone by the way, we were all here in the background cheering you on, could you hear us?! LOL Thank you for the amazing video and for including us in your work weekend. Be safe Kika and I look forward to seeing you again next week. Hugs! Laughing on this end when you blew up the unicorn...lol. The unicorn is still smiling.

I’m gonna share a lesson learned from life, sometimes one can’t stop the tears from coming when working alone… it’s a normal reaction to pushing ones body and mind. The hard part is realizing that crying only makes it harder to work and you keep pushing to get to the finish line.

Geez, huge props to you Kika! That looks like a level 10 boat yoga project, and you nailed it! (and I used to live solo on my sailboat, then had a life-altering car accident leaving me with limited mobility in one leg. So I watch videos of sailing friends, longing to join them. I feel ya!)

Hey Kika, this your friendly keel guy, i was laughing, and cryin with you, on that unicorn. It really sux that you couldnt go. And, that you were alone there without Dan. You know, he didn’t have nearly as much fun, as he would have with you there. Im alone, now too, and staying busy really helps. I hope to get this saga completed soon, and get to work on a special Erikson, that belongs to some special people, that i will be meeting soon. 😎

I assume you saw "Gone with the Wynns" latest announcement about their new boat. As sad as it may be that that was their inevitable conclusion, it is reinforcement that you folks made the correct decision with your rebuild. FYI, I have thought you made the correct decision all along. I have been enjoying watching your progress.

A split second before the balloon popped, I said out loud, "Pop". Made me laugh pretty good as well.
