Constant tension deadlifts with the trap bar are one of the most effective full body mass builders due to the incredibly high levels of mechanical tension, metabolic stress, muscle damage & constant tension. Combining them with one of my favorite tools the Sanddune provides just enough instability to wake up additional muscle fibers & force the lifter to clean up their form while not being so unstable & oscillatory that it distracts from the lift or limits loading. Bear crawl pushups are one of my go-to upper body & core stabilization drills. That’s because it’s literally impossible to let the hips & lumbar spine sag particularly if you focus on driving your hips & knees into a tight 90 deg position. They also help reinforce the concept that pushups should be a slight rotational pivoting motion not a linear motion like many mistake it for. Learn more about bear crawl pushups in full article at link below.

Lastly, the Angles90 grippers are another of my favorite training gadgets. Not only do they provide a very natural & comfortable method for performing pulling exercises but they tend to isolate the upper back & lats more effectively as the arms essentially act like hooks. Additionally the ability to use rotational motions allows a greater stretch & contraction throughout the movement while simultaneously promoting very natural scapulohumeral rhythm.
